Default Renting a mailbox question

I searched the forum but didn't find any recent threads on this. I also did not find anything on the AB wiki for it.

I'm looking to rent a mailbox (or PO box) in Canada (in Edmonton, AB) before I get there.

I had a look at the post office which does such rentals, but it appears that you have to be there already to sort it out. This won't work as I need to set up my mail forwarding in UK a month before I leave, and need to declare an address for the mail to go to.

Is there anywhere that offers this service and you can set it up online? I emailed the UPS store and wait for an answer but if anyone got any ideas/suggestions please let me know.

Thanks

You are right, Canada Post will only rent you one if you appear at the branch in question in person. Sorry cant help with alternatives.

Thank you, I did and can confirm they do offer the option of setting up a mailbox before you arrive in Canada.
