Default Rental Query

Hi

Can anyone tell me if the rental price for a house is set in stone, or do you make offers.

Not sure how it works in Canada

Thanks

If you feel that the rent is too high for that property then i would offer

What is the worst that will happen
They say "no"

Depends on location and rents on where you are looking, here in town certain areas demand a higher rent than another, another area propertys rarely come on the market for rent and others you can find loads, so the big question is really location etc

Depends on the market, as others have said. A lot of landlords interview and go with the 'nicest' tenants.

At present, it feels to me me like there is plenty enough choice to warrant chancing your arm on making an offer. Also, don't tie yourself in for more than 6 months although you may be asked for more.

Good luck on the search!

Kind regards,

Eamonn.
