Ba$%a$ds, how could they? Why? What are you meant to do, considering it's a bank holiday weekend there too? Cheap Motel for a few days?
I feel for you, that's really not what you need to hear 5 days before 'D' day.

How inconsiderate! Just adds to the stress of the move. Very disappointing.
Perhaps you should go an live it up in a nice hotel for a few days, relax, celebrate the move to Canada and find a new place to rent next week.
Sorry I dont know of anywhere to rent.
Good luck.

Mandi, that is really bad news so close to when you are going over. Hopefully you will manage to get a hotel or something for the first couple of days until you find somewhere else in the area you want to be. Try not to get too stressed, although I know that is hard.

On no! How awful!

Have you looked at rent faster or look online at the Calgary herald ads?

Mandi, that is terrible news, not sure how I would feel if the same happened to us so soon to moving out. At least there are lots of good and friendly people on here to try and help you out. I hope that you find something much better than the original place. As they say, there is a reason for everything.....

Mandi!

Just saw this! what a pooo!!!

What happened? Did they decide not to let?, or rented it already to somebody else at higher cost, I'll bet! :curse:

Give us a call when you get here anyway! Also check out Homerent.ca as well as the rental sites given. That's where we got both our rentals.

Let me know if we can help in any way.....

Homerent.ca seem to have a fair number ... here's the result for 3+ bedroom places in the NW for instance...
