Ok, here's an unusual situation I haven't read about before.
In short, I'm still waiting (a long time!) for my BC PNP PR application to be approved and my TWP is about to expire. I've applied for a TWP extension, so in the meantime I'm on implied status.
Unfortunately my dirving license is due to run out at the same time as my original TWP. So will ICBC renew my driving license under implied status, or are they going to tell me to get lost until I have a new TWP or PR?

For the record, here's a happy update:
ICBC renewed my driving license under my implied TWP status, another 2 months and hopefully my TWP (and PR!) will have arrived by then.
I spoke to ICBC in Victoria who advised me to take any supporting information along with me to the renewal office. I had a copy of my TWP-extension application and payment receipt, but it wasn't looked at.
