Hi can anybody suggest a reliable removal company, we are moving from uk to vancouver. please help

If you do a search there is a big thread on shipping companies which you may find helpful. There are good and bad comments about most of the companies so it may be a case of going with your gut instinct!
We have just moved to Vancouver. We used Robinsons who were excellent in the UK. As we only arrived on Saturday we have yet to see what happens this end
They charged us £4,150 for a sole use 20ft container from Derby to Vancouver.

Hi Sarah,

We moved from North Wales to Sherwood Park, Alberta last October and used the moving partnership. They sub-contracted the UK side of things to Britannia Thomas Casserlys.

The whole move was flawless, with the container being packed by them. Not one item was damaged on arrival in Alberta. We paid about 4000 for a 20 foot container.

I would recommend to all.

Not sure where you are moving from, but we moved from the south coast and used purvers international. They were fantastic and by far the best quote we got!
