House goes on the market this week (hopefully), and we've already contacted Pickfords and Doree-Bonner for them to come over to give us a consultation.
We'll be taking the contents of our computer room (a number of PCs, software and a 6'x3' bookcase full of books), our bed, dining room table & chairs, chinda display cabinet & contents, and probably the TV/video/DVD player as they're all multi-region and I have many rare/hard-to-find videos and DVDs I want to keep.
Any suggestions or hints and tips on choosing a removal firm? Any gotchas we should look out for?

Hi
We are on our way to Toronto next month, we thought long and hard about a suitable company and got various quotes from numerous companies. As ours is not a company move, price was a consideration.
We decided on Crown Relocations - www.crownrelo.com - who were absolutely superb (they will also negoiate on price) get in touch with them, their service, in our experiance left the others way behind.
Hope this helps
