WOW!
I want to go now!
What a lovely family - I'm glad everything has worked out so well for them. They didn't seem to have much fun in the UK but they are certainly making up for it now.
I'm off to pack....(I wish!

I watched the first showing when I was in the UK for a while - didn't get to see the second viewing though. How are they doing - are they still in the same house/doing the same jobs etc.?
The people where I was working thought I was fibbing or something 'cos it's taken us nearly 2 years to get visas sorted and yet it took these guys only a few weeks (or so they implied on the box.) I guess they must have gone over on temp. visas rather than PR's as there was no mention of medicals either - it sort of gave the wrong impression of the work that's needed when emigrating.

Yep, he is doing the same job and she is enjoying being at home with the children. They have had another little girl named Fi (Mum was pregnant in the first programme) They are in the same house (which looks lovely) but are planning to buy soon. He reckons he is on target to retire by the time he is 45 - 50 which can't be bad! He is now 2nd in command of the company he works for and jets off all over Alberta having champagne breakfasts etc. You saw them have a big party for the kids which they said they couldn't afford to do in the UK. I'm inspired!

I really happy for them, the only thing though it has made us so envious& impatient as we have only just had our AOR so we could be still 12 months away from going
Bragg Creek looks gorgeous, but probably a bit too rural for us we plan on staying a little closer to Calgary itself.
Remember don't wait for your ship to come in! swim out to meet the bloody thing!

I suppose we got off on the wrong foot didn't we,
. We are a little on edge at the moment. Life on hold & all that business, you know the way it is.Anyway on that subject about Satellite, is it possible to get Sky or similar in Canada?

Last week i was asking for help where to start looking for a nice part of Canada to settle and i got a reply from Johnie who lives in Bragg Creek. I looked it up on the web and it did look luv'ly. I was surprised to watch TV today and see a couple who had moved to Bragg Creek and again, it did look luv'ly.
Wheres the nearest international airport to Bragg Creek?

Bragg Creek is one of Calgary's more wealthy satellite bedroom communities.
