Default Regular pension transfer - any recommendations?

Has anyone a preference as to which company to use when doing a monthly fixed transfer (£500) from the UK to CAD? I have applications for accounts with Halo/HiFX and have just looked at Moneycorp. Their charges seem comparible but if anyone can recommend one in particular we would appreciate it. ta very much.

I have been doing similar research for regular transfers with Moneycorp, Foreign Currencies Direct and the like and they seem to be pretty much of a muchness.

I have decided however, that I will be transferring the funds every four months or so depending on the exchange rate at the time.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I will probably take advantage of the decent exchange rate and get a fix.

Not an answer but a question.... if you don't mind me asking, is yours a UK based private or national pension? We are having trouble finding a way to transfer our private pension over - how did you do it?

British Military Pensions can be payed direct from the Paymaster General to an account here in Canada Tax Free. You just have to declare it on your T4 and provide proof of Canada Taxation to the PMG. Takes a while to get it sorted out but you will get all the Tax back from the date of entry
