hie everyone
i have a a question to any nurses who have migrated to canada from the uk(or those intending to do so).
i need to migrate to ontario but i am bit confused about the requirements for their nurses registration board(in ontario) ie do i need to have a work permit or pr. in order to register with them? secondly has anyone ever obtained a work permit despite just a temporary registration certificate?
thanks a lot

hi no you don't need a work permit to register.the best thing to do is to contact cno and they will send you the application forms.its a very long process and if you do not have a degree then you will have to to a top up course.the website is www.cno.org you can also call them Toll Free in Ontario: 1 800 387-5526.i hope this will help
