If you have some self employed income, do you need to register the company in Quebec or do you just state the income on your tax return?
It would be a sole trader business so no incorporated registration.
Secondly, the company is run in the UK and accepts £ as payment but it's all an online shop.
As I will be tax resident in Canada, I assume there is no UK tax to pay but I will have to submit the amount on my Canada tax return.

Proprietorship = Self employed individual
Company = Incorporated business
Proprietorships don't need to be registered. You may need a business license (local govt.), sales tax number, QST in Quebec and GST federal, payroll number if you have employees, workers compensation if you have employees. Liability insurance is a good idea too.
Google is a wonderful creation -
