Default Regina Gardiner PARK area

Any info on the above area gratefully received seen a rental at $2,300 dollars.
Trying to work out if its a nice area and if that is a reasonable rent.
Cheers

For that money it should be really nice but I've never lived in that area.. A quick look on kijiji shows some nice places there and a 5 br in Wascana View (same side of town) for the same price so you want to shop carefully unless planning on very short term occupancy. Wascana View has nice houses but they tend to back onto each other so go onto the deck and you're looking over the fence at 4 or 5 identical decks, bbq's etc. You also have to balance priorities like can you walk to the store/school/bus vs traffic noise/proximity to main roads. If the house is in the middle of Gardiner Park it should be quieter than if it backs onto a main road.

I live near by there, seems like a nice area to me but so do most of the residential areas except or a few around the central area. Some places are a bit of a building site with new homes or buildings going up.
