Apologies if this has been discussed before but I am struggling to find info regarding recruitment agencies in Halifax that are general and not for specialisms, can anybody help? I have found a couple but they don't seem too interested in either responding to e-mail requests, or handling overseas candidates. We have our medicals booked for 23rd October so expecting residency soon after

There aren't actually that many, but the best is probably Robertson Surette,
agencies like employers direct will not respond to overseas applicants on the whole, as they get bombarded daily by people looking for sponsorship. They do not really respond to email applicants from Halifax either, you really need to go in and see them and keep on at them until they start to take you seriously.

Thanks for the reply. We have flights booked to visit at the end of November, early December so I was hoping to line up some meetings to make the most of the trip. If you think of any more, please let me know but thanks for the info that you have sent, its much appreciated

Take a look through workopolis.com and careerbeacon, you will find most agencies advertising on these sites, they all seem to have direct links
