I was thinking about that the other day; and I reckon this just might be the first year we don't get it! (Nice not to have to deal with, but important water supply) Global warming? Just hope we don't get a repeat of last year's summer rain instead

Hi
Just came back from a trip to British Columbia and Alberta. Stayed in Calgary for 2 nights, it was really hot in my opinion but got cooler at night.

Had a fantastic time thanks, albeit short. I'm sorely tempted to move there.
We spent Sunday afternoon on the beach in glorious weather with snow capped mountains for a back drop - BEAUTIFUL!

So now all of you can tell "the folks back home " that Canada is NOT cold ALL the time.
I do tour bus trips in Toronto, and have a standing bet with my driver about how many UK tourists we will have to send to Hospital due to sun stroke each Summer. We run a double decker, with the roof cut off so the top is "open air" and the Scots are the worst for not wearing hats nor drinking any water, all day. Never can get them to "wise up " about the sun in Canada. Fair skin, overweight and dressed as if they are in Glasgow in February, and it is 33 C .No wonder they get sick and faint. or fall down the stairs in the bus at the end of the two hour tour of the city.
One more bit...............Never tell a German tourist " we will be leaving in 5 minutes ". Because they will set their watches and at 6 minutes they will be demanding a cash refund. ( Grin ).
