Default Readiness for poor financial forecast

Hello All,

Now that the poor financial climate has taken the center stage and going to affect not only US but rest of the world ( I quite believe Canada is not really immuned to this, at least AB and ON).

What do you think the average Citizen (who still pays mortgage as me) should do to battle if the recession is reality. Personally, I'd never been in recession. In the past, I failed to observe that small savings make huge difference in long term and I am on the loser's side on that part having lost decent cash in expenses I could've better watched.

Thanks,

I would be screwed then - my teeth are not too bad (but not overly whitened), but I have a white streak at the front that I gave up dying because it needed doing so frequently.

It says a lot about a society when how you look is more important than "can you actually do the job" or "are you qualified"

If it gets really bad, I might consider renting out the chateau or flogging one of the Bentleys.

Thanks,
I was here during the stock market crash in 1987. Do you know that more millionaires were made in Canada from this than any other event? Those that cleaned up at the bottom of course. We have been there before and come through it and I am sure the same applies now.
