Friends in that trade generally work 7-3.30 (summer) or 8-4.30 (winter).

To the posters.........
You will need to contact the body that looks after the licences in the area that you are going...
if you are heading to alberta you need to be looking at http://www.tradesecrets.gov.ab.ca/in...ex_content.asp
If you have your qualifications and 9000hrs in the trade you will be fine, wages are from $25 above depending on where you are looking, larger places are higher and smaller cities have lower wages, but then it depends on the deal that you are getting from the employer.
hubby sat his exam before xmas and passed, you can now arrive on TWP and sit the test within 6mths of being here.....
OH is industrial electrician and found employers to be real helpful, we went about contacting employers and advising the days that we would be here on recci trip and then asked for a meeting
if you just send your resume out, you may not get a response, we sent it out as an enquiry and asked to meet them.......
If you advise where you are planning on going, i am sure it can be picked up better...
good luck
