Just letting you know about some Christmas and birthday prezzies that I quite like.
I got a magic bullet http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=MfFqh33GXtM . Already made a pina colada and daiquiri with it. Don't worry does not come with the Mockney loser.
For my birthday I got the Conair Infiniti Hair dryer. Well actually I bought at the "pick the carcass of Linens and things' sale, the brought it home and told hubby that was my present. The infiniti is actually easier to use than drying the hair with a brush and regular hair dryer, it was also quicker.

Loved the vac I had in the UK so much I shelled out a small fortune and bought one here too - Sebo, German manufactured vac, never had any bother with it, although the UK model was a tad more powerful.

+1 for the Roomba. We bought one, after 11 months it stopped picking up. We contacted iRobot, they shipped out a brand new one under warranty and never asked for the old one back.

Great to let loose when we leave for work - obviously not 100% perfect, but less effort than doing it manually
