Raising the Pass Mark from 67
#1
We submitted our application about 6 weeks ago. Can anyone tell me whether our application will be assessed on the current passmark of 67, or a higher pass mark if it is raised (as is rumoured) whilst our application is pending?

Hello,
You might be advised to post this question in the immigration forum for a more authorative answer from one of the experts there. However I'm sure that I've read in that forum that unfortunately your application would be assessed based on the point requirements of the day rather than when the application was actually sent in.

Lots of different views on this one. A CHC officer we spoke to at Sandown said it would be assessed based upon the points at day of receipt, not day of process. However other official sources suggest exactly the opposite after the recent court case that's resulted in thousands of applications being reassessed.
