Default Radio programs

Hi,
Any avid radio listeners. Back in US, I used to remain tuned to NPR ([email protected]) which runs (reasonably unbiased) talk shows, programs.
Around GTA, are there similar radio stations that you listen to (if yes, frequency please)?

BTW, is it unusual to see people sitting in office with headphones here. I do not see any one with a headphone, May be it is becoz of the Govt office.

Thanks,
J....

I am going to have to try this one out, it sounds interesting.

I haven't really come across any decent radio stations since I have been here. They all seem very small town, and there isn't really many worldly issues being discussed. I have been tuning into the UK stations via the web and listening to recorded programs.

My searches must have been limited.

The Coast to Coast AM looks cool. The links are bizarre especially the one about the two sisters meeting ET in a St Louis coffee shop.

If you liked NPR your best bet here is cbc (cbc.ca, FM 99.1 in TO).

Coast-to-coast AM is for insomniac flying saucer nutters and conspiracy theorists. I listen all the time. (/joke)
