Default Rabies vaccinations cheaper

Just wanted to say to pet owners - SHOP AROUND for your Rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs.

I found a vet who wanted my business because he had a batch of the vaccine that was due to expire in January (if not used by then, that's money down the drain for him) and so he did my Fit to Fly letters for free.

I have multiple animals, so this saved me a great deal of money. It about halved the cost that some other vets (including my usual vet) were going to charge me.

The vet who does the vaccination does not need to be your regular vet but does have to be a senior veterinarian and a registered animal inspector, so check with the Practice that the vet who signs the F2F letters has the required status.

If you need to see a vet here the one we use is Albatross Veterinary Service

45 216 St,
Langley BC,
V2Z 1S3
604-530-1409

They are right down by the border on 216th so not next door - but not a million miles away either. They were recommended by the breeder of the first dog we bought in Canada. She drove 4 hours each way from near Cache Creek to bring her dogs to Dr Zwamborn.

They are not a poncy city practice. As well as being very good they are very reasonably priced. Our dog broke her leg a few years back and they had to put metal pins in to help the bone set. We claimed on our insurance but the claim was rejected at first. The insurance company would not believe he had done all that work for the price he charged!

We use one in Mission and are very happy with their service and price. It's just round the corner from you in Abby so let me know if you want their details.
