Hi
OAS is based on the number of years that you have lived in Canada since the age of 18 to a maximum of 40.
So if you emigrated at the age 40, you would be entitled 25/40 of the maximum $502.31 or $313.94 per month.
Old Age Security available at age 65 is a national program and the rates vary between $476.16 and $502.31 per month not sure how or why.
