I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this question:

Is is possible to live and work in Canada, with some kind of visa, while the application is being processed?

I am eligible for a NAFTA visa and I'm pursuing an employment opportunity. I do not know if they will grant the visa, and if so, will it "harm" my existing application?
