That entirely depends on the input voltage of your charger and nothing else.

If you plan to use them on a worksite, they must have CSA approval, which means a CSA mark on the tools. You can pay to get this but it costs more than replacing the tools.

You could bring the cordless tool with you & buy the 100v/18v plug in CSA approved charger here.

The cordless low voltage tool device itself (drill etc) doesn't need CSA/UL approval only that charger/adapter which plugs into the electricity source.

If your charger is universal 110/220 then make sure it has an international electrical authority approvals sticker on the charger.

If the tools are well used & the cost of buying the charger here makes it not worth the effort - I suggest you do a google for tool prices in Canada

You should check with your employer, as it is not only the charger that CSA applies to.

As the rules are extensive, we operate a policy that only CSA approved tools are to be used in our locations and all contractors must carry their own WCB coverage.

If you are employed by a larger company most supply cordless drills and power tools for the workers to use.
I brought mine with me and didn't use them at all for the first 2 years.
When I started to work for myself, I replaced the charger of my DeWalt tools and Paslode nailer for a 110v ones and they worked fine.

If they are good tools, bring them, otherwise you may be better off selling them in the UK and replacing them over here when needed. Tools here are quite reasonable compared to the UK

I left my cordless drills in the UK, incase I fail my red seal electrical exam 3 times. First attempt in three weeks. Where sre you moving too? I moved to Royal Oak area of Calgary, but I work up north
