Can anyone tell me if when you're renting a condo are the condo fees paid by the landlord or the tennant?? Also is there anyone out there in Calgary who can give me an idea of rental prices?? I've just looked at several sites and the rentals are outrageous at $1500-$2000 plus per month.

Condos are expensive as you are paying for all the facilities that come with them.

Thanks very much - investigations are ongoing so we'll see. I had a reply back from a realtor which told me that at $750 per month, it actually wasn't worth it as you can't cover the mortgage and condo fees.
Looks like appartments are off the list of possibles.
