Proof of Relationship !!What documents are needed ?

What are the documents that I need to submit as proof of my relationship with my relatives in Canada ?

Do I need a letter from my relatives ?

I have already applied for PR as Independent cat. in Oct 2001 and I think this will give me additional points if my application is not finalized by March 03,

Is it ok to send the documents at this stage ?

Experts please advise.

Birth and marriage certificates showing the relationship will likely be required.
