Default Processing of Application has been completed

My letter states that my local Immigration Centre here in Canada will contact me. It states I will have an appointment and I will be required to bring with me the original indentification documents (I presume that's my passport). A final decision will be made at that time.

Anybody else been through this and is this just normal standard procedure? What should I expect at my appointment?

Cheers.
