Prices between US and Canada

Re: Prices between US and Canada
Oh, I don't know, we've enjoyed baseball all summer, the first home hockey game, next week I'm going to see Cyrano at the Opera House, Mr B has tickets for an upcoming Lions game... all well within 8 Mile They say Windsorites make more use of downtown Detroit than Michiganders on account of it being so close and convenient, and I could agree with that.
Back on topic-ish, a major reason for moving here was proximity to a good US airport with reasonable fares, good connections and a few "cheapy" airlines - air travel being another rip-off when you look at US/CAD pricing.

I spent a week in University in Windsor/Detroit observing the differences in City growth etc between a Canadian and US City and what the impacts of suburbanization and a declining inner city can have. Granted professional sports and cheap flights are a good deal in DTW, but a first class city they do not make.

Re: Prices between US and Canada
* Is it normal that a woman had bleeding and no sonogram was available in the emergency room to know whether she was bleeding because of miscarriage or something else...
* Is it normal that you pay a premiem each month and yet, you have to pay for your medications.
* Is it normal that you indirectlty pay for your lab tests and so on, yet the doctor does not want to give you a copy of these tests for your own records?
1- Can anyone give me hints and tips on how to get the best of their so called healthcare system?
2- Could you recommend a pharmacy plan?
Thank you in advance

I was basing my comments on the "City" of Detroit based on my visits to 313 in which I saw a lot of this.

What you said was that iyho there was no advantage in proximity to the city of Detroit itself - I listed a few of the activities we've enjoyed in the city so far. I forgot to mention the cracking restaurants and the festivals in my other post, but no matter.
