Default Pre-school/Playgroups in Halifax - Specifically Clayton Park Area

Does anyone know of any? I have found a couple of pre-schools but they are fully booked.

I would also be interested if anybody knows of any weekly playgroups.

Thanks

Isn't there a Nova Scotia equivalent of Ontario Early Years Centres?

All free and there are many where I am currently

Hi

I'm not really near you there in Clayton Park but know there are plenty of drop in play groups all over HRM. HRM Libraries also have activities like puppet shows for little ones. Try the following sites for info:

http://www.hrmparent.ca

Hi AmyDavid,

We have lived in Fall River for nearly 3 years now, I have a 7 year old son. When we arrived I worked as pre-school teacher, but i now have my own pre-school centre in Waverley (close to fall river). feel free to take a look at our website www.wendysneverland.ca
I do have spaces for now.

HI,

not too worry, it's a bit of a drive from clayton park, although i do havea child that travels from crieghton park to preschool and t hat's a good 20 to 25 mins away. I believe clayton park Library runs mornings/afterschool reading stories and activities for young ones and is supposed to be an excellent library.

We have been along to the Monday morning reading thing at the Library and it was really good so I will have to see what else they do!

Hi there, both my friends take their small children here and enjoy socialising they have a great website too .
just plug in Beansprout Cafe to google.....

" Bean Sprout Cafe is a bright, fun cafe in Clayton Park, Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer organic, fair-trade coffees, teas and specialty drinks... and a place for kids to play so their parents can socialize without worrying that they're ruining anyone else's experience. Our play area is open to the cafe, so it's easy to supervise your wee ones while you sip your drink, chat with friends (or make some new ones!), or just relax and read the paper. And if your day is especially hectic, we also have a drive-through."
