To live in West Vancouver, and commute to work in downtown?
Woud a car be needed, or an it be easily done by bus / passenger ferry ?
Any info would be great
Thanks

Hi
Depends on how close to the Bus line you live,West Vancouver is a large area. The ferry leaves from Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver, A car would be better except you have parking problems in Vancouver. It really doesn't matter which method, other than the sea bus, yo u have the Lions Gate Bridge, which is a real bottleneck.

You could go to the trip planning page of the TransLink website and make an enquiry about a trip from a given address in West Vancouver to a given address downtown. See how long the trip takes and how many connections you have to make. If you'll be commuting to and from work, make sure your enquiry is for the morning or afternoon / evening rush hour on a week day.
