Now I'm no longer tied to a WP and our business, so Canada's my oyster, or something.

It's a managerial/administrative post rather than an academic one, so the summer vacation's not applicable (though I do get 6wks off per/yr :)). I plan to start in the next couple of weeks.

The bottle was close to running dry on a couple of occasions, but we got through it.

Once I've accumulated enough days as a resident I'll apply for citizenship. Time spent on a WP here's not counted as full-time (a proportional amount is allocated), so it'll be a year or 2 yet.
