Please help a frustrated one.

I am planning to send a sponsored PR application for life in Montreal but I am confused.

Do I send the sponsorship forms with my PR forms and related forms together to the CIC authorities and then they send the sponsor forms to the Quebec people who in turn send more forms to my sponsor. I assume then the Quebec people, once they are happy and issue the selection cert, will then tell the CIC people who will then deal with my PR app.

Is this the process and therefore does this mean that I will have to wait longer for my PR decision?

Thanks for your answer Andrew, but at the risk of coming across as an idiot, I have looked there also.

It seems to indicate that I should apply for my sponsorship approval and selection cert before I apply for PR at CIC.

I am confused because the CIC site refers me to the Quebec site anbd vice-versa.

I do not want to get this wrong - at the CIC site, they clearly say that all forms and applications should be sent together.

Can you advise please?

Going through Quebec definitely lengthens the process. It also seems
to me that the Quebec sponsorship standards are much tougher than the
federal.
