Having anxiously waited over 4 months for my PR card to arrive, I suggest you do the following.
1. Get an Airbnb place for 1-2months that allows pets. Gives you time to find the right long term location.
2. Move once in Spring. You want your first experience in Canada to be enjoyable.
3. Give immigration your new address within 60 days, so that you receive your PR card at the right location.
