Strict veggie friends of mine used to eat the Beef flavoured one, so there's definitely no meat in it. I don't see why it would be a problem? They didn't discover my haggis (which isn't allowed afaik) so I'd be hopeful of a non-meat noodle thingy.

I brought home a case of Sweet and Sour last time and I was fine. I don't really think it matters for prepared foods, and I'm pretty sure the "meat" in them is textured soy protein.

Edit: Hey here's a reverse question! Can I bring my English brother in law Bovril with actual cow content back from Canada?

Thanks for the reply guys just a bit worried as i will be "landing" on the 8th, didn't really want to create an enviromental health emergency on my 1st day as a perm. resident.

With regards to the marmite, they really don't give a fig over here unless you are un lucky enough to be searched which is very very unlikely

Well we arrive at toronto abot 2.30 on thursday 8th so if you meet us at the airport we will pass a stash of chicken and mushroom to you, just to keep the addiction at bay. Make sure you have the carnation in your lapel and the big sign saying POT NOODLE

lol
