My husband is applying a Spousal Visa for me. We already have the application forms but didn't submit it yet. I am carrying our first baby now and it would be due on Oct. The processing would probably take a year and by that time, hopefully, we already have our baby.
My question is if we're gonna pass the application now would the Immigration require us to change the info once the baby is born? Is my husband going to file a different visa for our child? If that would be the case, then we might as well postpone our application in time for our baby to be born to save hassles and effort in applying.
Please enlighten us with this matter. Thank you!

The application will have to be amended once the child is born, but that does not
require an entirely new application. Additional information on this topic may be
found at Campbell, Cohen's web site at the following URL:
http://canadavisa.com/documents/amend.htm
It would generally be best to submit the case as early as possible, and to amend the
case after the delivery.

David,
Thanks for the reply as well as the link.
Meg from this forum told me that I can't have a medical exam since I am pregnant and I believe that is true. Do you have any idea how many months after the filing of the case would I be required to have a medical check-up?
Thanks again for the reply!

Start the process now and inform the CPC in Vegreville that you are pregnant. They
will wait for the medical.
