Nova Scotia result doesn't suprise me at all. If the popularity of this forum is any reflection at all it is going to be brit central over there.
Surprised New Brunswick isn't higher - It seems to be gaining momentum though...

I missed the poll whatever it was, but I wonder if those results reflect national trends, the kind stats canada would collect?
Traditionally Ontario has been the biggest draw....strongest economy, most jobs, and significantly for many immigrants, likely to have family already there. Alberta has the jobs now, and BC has the least severe weather for those worried about such niceties.
NS doesn't really register on the national scale does it? But perhaps it is particularly attractive to Brits looking to downsize and leverage their UK property equity.

Following our recce we came away with very positive feedback of opportunities, I suppose it depends what trade you are in
Also, trend seems to be that a lot of people have gone west hence gaps in labour market.
