Read loads of the threads on the site, can anyone help with these questions, firstly are there any carpenters who have moved out and been sucessful there are lots of horror stories about truck driving, cant find anything about carpenters/joiners, although I believe there is a shortage would be lookin at Alberta, also has anyone moved out there with a police record (and I dont mean walking on the moon), my wife has one although it was years ago. Dont want to waste money and time applying if I cant take her with me who would make my pack up!!!

Hi,
Would a spent conviction mean you would be ok to get a work permit?
