Is there a fee for submitting my application to the Alberta PNP?
No. The Alberta PNP is free.
Is there a fee for the permanent resident visa?
Yes. You must pay processing fees to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) when you apply for permanent residence. You must also pay a “Right of Permanent Residence†fee to gain final permanent resident status. For more information about CIC fees, see below for the Processing Fees page of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.
Hope that helps.

Hi Paul, Kevs letter came today so we are busy filling out forms also. I was also wondering who and when we pay our fees to so you saved me asking to question. Good luck with your pnp process. Its all getting very real for us now after 11 years of dreaming of moving to Canada. Cant wait! Katrina

Yep long time. We went to Alberta/BC for our honeymoon in 97 and fell in love with the place and wished from themn until now that w could move there. But kids came along and it kind of got put on the back burner and recently when Calgary started recruiting. We coiuldn`t go (and take the kids)without a job to go to. So now is our chance just when the bottom falls out of the housing market and could well throw a spanner in the works.
Watch this space really and what will be will be but fingers crossed it all goes to plan!!!!!!!
