You could maybe try some smaller towns
Smaller towns and places work on a who you know basis. It's normally someones dad / uncle / wife / brother cousin of a wife / dad / brother / uncle cousin that is in one or other of the trades. So an outsider is unlikely to get straight in there. they need to be here and maybe do casual (and I don't mean cash - I mean a day or two here there and everywhere) work on new housing estate builds. You can walk into whatever house is going up - ask who the main contractor for the plumbing is and then get in touch and probably scab a few days here and there. Get's your name about and gets you contacts.

Thats a good idea, just when I went to do my gas stuff there where 2 guys there who said it was so hard to find ppl

what line of plumbing are you looking to get into...commercial, residential, institutional or industrial?
