If anyone could please explain the spousal/fiance sponsorship application process to me it'd be greatly appreachiated you can reach me at my email address [email protected] any information would be great, the websites i've visited might as well be written in japanese because they're so hard to understand..I'd love to talk with someone who has actually gone through the process. Hi:

The Family Class sponsorship program is essentially a two step process.

The first step is the approval of the sponsorship. These applications are submitted
to the Case Processing Centre in Mississaugua, Ontario. The sponsor must qualify
according to the set criteria. The sponsoree (applicant) must be a member of the
family class. There is no financial criteria for the sponsorship of spouses or
dependent children.

Once the sponsorship is approved, the sponsoree or applicant must make an application
for Canadian permanent residency at any Canadian Visa Post outside of Canada.

With the exception that within Canada applications (only spouses and dependent
children are permitted to be sponsored from within Canada), the application for
sponsorship and the application for Canadian permanent residency are submitted at the
same time to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville.
