The reason the moderators are moving your thread is because you're posting in the Immigration sub-forum. I'm not a stickler for categorising everything myself but some people obviously like to compartmentalise and threads about cost of living should go in the main forum whereas immigration is more for discussion about applications, work permits, medicals that kind of thing.

This thread was moved from the Immigration forum as it is a Lifestyle topic not a discussion about immigration issues. I've since noticed that you already have a started a thread about the same topic so am closing this as it is a duplicate.

For future reference. Lifestyle topics about living and working in Canada go in the Lifestyle forum. Immigration/visa and related topics go in the Immigration forum. Off topic and general chit-chat go in the Maple Leaf

Thanks
