We've been out a few times since applying and feel quite at home in London. I made contact with a really great Realtor.

Let me know if you want some info.

Good luck MkMurrays - you've done all the hard work to this point (survived the long and stressful visa process, sold your house, sorted your belonging etc, etc). Onwards and upwards now to a new life in Canada.

How very exciting (and a bit scary) . Don't let them pack all the lists! Sending karma down the M1 to you. Enjoy your holiday and your new lives.

Never fear, will guard my lists with my life.
Feel better now they're making progress. Full of boxes, the house is less like home.

Glad it's going OK.

Just a quick question - being nosey! Have the removal firm actually brought the container to your house to load or do they take everything away in a removal van and pack on their premises?

Hi.
Not nosey at all - sensible question.
The removal company are here today and tomorrow packing and then the container comes tomorrow at 11am and they load up - like a giant jigsaw puzzle. We've been through a move before - aborted move to Fort Lauderdale - and it's the same process.

When we get packed up the movers will spend three days at the house taking what they have packed away at the end of each day. They will leave it at their depot and pack the container on the fourth day.
