I know there is a issue with being unable to use "wii" games in the Canadian consoles,but can any 1 tell me if we will have the same problem with "playstation 2 game's" not being able to play over there?

Generally-speaking, yes there will be. British Playstation 2 games are of the PAL region, whereas Canadian games are of the NTSC region. However, there are several versions of discs which you can buy for the Playstation 2 which will allow you to play games of any region for a Playstation 2 of any nationality. You will be able to find these quite easily on the internet, or in your local games shop.

I do not know this for sure, but I would also predict that there are similar discs available for this function for the Wii. And, let's face it, that is the priority, because the following equation applies: Nintendo > Sony.
