Re: Pineapples
Can you get cottage cheese by itself? Come to think of it, probably not.

Ahh, all roads lead to cheese. The cozy warmth of familiarity.
So, cheese. How expensive is it in Canada, eh?

Re: Pineapples
Sadly no.
Yes, but it's mostly slimy. You can get a dried, pressed cottage cheese which is nearer to the Loksley? Farm one I used to buy but cottage cheese is really an ordeal.
The pressed variety would probably be very nice with some chopped fresh pineapple I imagine.

Re: Pineapples
Apparently pineapples only grow in a few countries successfully. I believe Kenya and Hawaii are two of the best. And also apparently, the plant only typically produces one fruit, which it takes two years to grow, then dies. Pineapples start to deteriorate immediately they are picked. I am open to contradictions as I find this fascinating. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Pineapples
This is getting silly. Which means it's also getting interesting. 5 pages of posts on pineapples? Seriously? Freezing them? You do know they come in tins, right? Just saying. Yes, I know, fresh is nicer but fer flips sakes, unless you are some endangered species whose survival absolutely depends on fresh pineapple, why go to all that bother? And yes, I know, you like pineapple, no harm in that. In fact, talking myself round here. My parents both smoke and would fly to Malaga to buy loads of cheap fags, so same thing really. And having successfully argued against myself, I'm out.
