Default Pet transportation

Does anyone out there have advice/experience on transporting pets (1dog/1cat) to Canada.

For ex how much, carriers to avoid and so on......

otherwise go to the "search" button in the tabs above and search pets/dogs/canada .... that sort of thing.

We used Air transat and our dog travelled to Calgary as "Excess baggage" in 2005, but things change......
