1. Does anybody know how long it takes for somebody to get the canadian permanent residence card after they applied at the border point for it? Even if you didn't receive yet the PR card please tell me how long ago did you apply for it.


2. After getting the permanent resident card, when passing the border to Canada do I have to pay an importation fee for the car that I own? Is there any way that I could be waived of paying this fee if I intend to send the car back in us? I only need the car for transportation purposes?
