Dear Shankar, thank you for your input and initiative for this thread. I am also expecting passport request From CIC detroit. I am already in Toronto on temporary status. Is the option given to all to get it stamped in person? and please tell me if you know how much time it takes if we send it by courier to get the passports back. I dont want to cross the border unless I have to!

thanks and regards,

Moe
Hi Moe,
In person stamping option varies from case to case.
Generally it takes to 2 to 4 weeks it seems if you send it by courier. SInce I dont want to send the passport by courier I did it in person.
Thanks
Shankar

medicals question

i just got my interview waiver apr 2003.

In the initial assessment letter,
IT says, DO NOT conduct medical examination till 6 months have elapsed. else u risk doing it too soon and may have to do it all over again.

What should I do, do it right away and do it again, or wait for the timeframe mentioned.?

thnks!
