When we finally get to Canada can we transfer state pension from UK into Canada? Or is it left frozen?

If you search the forum there should be quite a bit of information come up on this subject. I remember looking into it myself a while ago and things seem to have changed since our government introduced new regulations last year.
As far as i recall unless the pension provider in Canada is recognised by inland revenue and is on their list then it's not possible at present. When i checked there were no recognised Canadian institutions but plenty of Australian ones!!!
Will try and dig out the mail i had on this subject for you.

I've just checked the updated list for QROPS. and Canada now has several listed so it may now be more of a possibility.
