Hello to you all...
Ive been driving in the uk for about 14 years now, with a clean licence and was proud of it !!
Well, guess what just had a NIP in post for speeding. Got caught doing 41 mph in a temporary 30. It serves me right as I was always lecturing everybody about speeding...
So my question is how does the 3 penalty points now effect me when I change my licence when I get to Calgary in 3 - 4months...?
Thanking you in anticipation from a much more observant driver
Tara x

Unfortunatly when you mention them to a prospective insurer you'll get shafted (more than usual)

I know, where's the fun in that. I guess we'll look forward to 'seacretin' signing up tomorrow with his latest invention, the wheel.

Well I got my come-uppance anyway. I found a speeding fine in my mailbox at the new house yesterday. (Camera fine, so no points luckily!) ......That was just after we saw that there was no WAY the bloody house was going to be habitable for the forseeable future. So we've cancelled the van we'd booked for the move tomorrow!! And we've negotiated to stay a little longer in the rental (but don't tell the builder cos I want the bloody man to think we're on the streets now), and the only problem left is we've no washer or drier, as our landlady has sold them. ...and I still haven't sorted out my pay cos my manager's a ......... deep breaths, deep breaths..........
The only really good thing is that now I know we're not moving this week, I can try to concentrate on this rotten exam this Saturday.
