I've been living in the Yukon for the last 10 months and I'm thinking of moving east next year.
Has anyone been to Prince Ed. Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia; and have any opinions on where is better? I plan on renting in either Charlottetown, Moncton or Halifax respectively, then moving out into a rural area.
I will end up visiting them all and could move if necessary but picking a good initial base would be better.

Some friends of ours moved a couple years ago from the Yukon and live on the border of NS and NB and within easy reach of PEI so a lot will depend on what sort of life you are after. They love it where they are

Some friends of ours moved from Yellowknife to New Brunswick several years ago and they love it there, but then they visited Nova Scotia and now wish they had come here instead.

PEI, NS and NB are all very nice to visit but PEI seemed a little to quiet and remote, but then I suppose it depends what sort of lifestyle you are looking for. It seemed PEI was definitely where people went to vacation rather than live.
As for the other two both were very nice and we could see ourselves in either, but as people say you can't eat the scenery so I suppose it depends where you get a job.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

I'm in Charlottetown, PEI. I don't find it too quiet or boring. Maybe out of Charlottetown, but here there is always plenty going on if you look for it.
I moved here as a 20 something single guy and find it perfect for me. YRMV

Moncton operates a double taxation tenant tax, so we found the rental options much more limited than in Saint John, Halifax, etc.

Any where except NS, too many Brits here already! Man I wanted to escape the UK!
