Default Payment of fee

My common-law parter (Canadian) and I are finishing our immigration papers and so we are almost ready to send everything.

As we don´t live in Canada we are suppossed to pay via Bank Draft o Money Order. We are planning to do Bank draft but we could not get much information.

Can anyone help us? Is there an special bank to send the money to? Every Canadian bank receives the money draft only indicatin the beneficiary ? Is there a particular procedure that must / should be followed?

Thanks
Paul

I belive you need to get a bankdraft in Canadian dollars that is drawable on a Canadian bank and made payable to "the receiver general of Canada".

Most highstreet banks should do it once you get the explination straight.
