Passport Renewal
I'm so confused! I'm a British citizen living in Canada & I'm trying to renew my British passport. I've read all the info. on all the sites but I'm not sure what the correct fee is. In one area is states that the fee is $238. plus $15. for return postage. In another area it says that the fee is 76 pounds to be paid in local currency which would only be approx. $155. I've tried phoning the consulate but there is no way that you can get a live person on the phone. Does anyone know the correct answer? I can't afford to waste time by getting it wrong. You can print of a form to pay by credit card and the processing time is fairly fast, someone on BE said recently it only took 10 days to get their new passport.
